Applying for Financial Aid

Each year the Board of Directors budgets an amount for financial assistance for the coming school year. Families should simultaneously apply for tuition assistance while completing their re-enrollment or admission application process. There is a cost of $35 to submit your assessment and the assessment will not be considered until the fee is paid and all applicable tax documents are submitted. The first deadline for the 2024-2025 school year is March 15, 2024. All supporting documentation is due by April 1, 2024. Initial financial aid awards will be announced in early April. Late applications received after the March 15 deadline will not be considered until after the first round of awards are made. Parents are encouraged to apply early. Financial Aid is only available for kindergarten through eighth grade.

Parents who wish to be considered for the GO for Monte Cassino Scholarship (formerly Go for Catholic) must have a complete financial aid application and all required supporting documentation on file no later than March 15, 2024.

  1. Due March 15: Signed previous year 1040, W2, and/or 1099 Form, business returns, Schedule C/K-1's (if applicable)
  2. Due April 1: Signed current year 1040, W2, and/or 1099 Form, business returns, Schedule C/K-1's (if applicable)
  3. For returning parents, tax forms submitted for the previous school year will need to be resubmitted.
  4. If current year, signed tax returns are not available on March 15, a conditional financial aid award will be made. Awards will not be finalized until after submission of current, signed tax information.
  5. Non U.S. residents must submit official income/asset verification forms, foreign tax returns, and/or wage statements.

Important Points to Consider about Financial Aid

  1. Financial aid is for families who have a demonstrated need for financial assistance.
  2. If a family believes they will need financial aid at any point during a child's time at Monte Cassino, they must apply for aid at the outset. Families will not be considered for aid if it is not requested during the enrollment or admission application process. If a family's financial circumstances change significantly, the School will make every effort to provide assistance.
  3. Be sure to apply for financial aid in a timely manner. The deadline is March 15, 2024. Applications received after the March 15, 2024 deadline will only be considered after the initial round of awards.

Financial Aid for the 2024-2025 school year is open and interested parents can begin submitting applications. Monte Cassino School is using Blackbaud Financial Aid to process all financial aid applications. Blackbaud Financial Aid is a separate web platform from Blackbaud Tuition Management (formerly Smart Tuition). Parents applying for aid need to set up a separate account from their tuition account and will have a separate login.
